Thursday (Thor’s day- meaning Sango’s day…hmmmmmm get that into your head) was proper, proper fun day for me! 😄⚽️
I had such a fantastic time at the famous Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, San Siro, the legendary home of AC Milan-1899 (Associazione Calcio Milan), simply Milan in Italy & (Internazionale FC), better known as Inter Milan est-1908 or far better just Inter.
Inter broke away from AC Milan & chose the name Internazionale to show they were open to players of all nationalities. Which AC wasn’t favourably disposed to then.
From walking through the stadium to seeing the dressing rooms, tunnels, stands & then wandering through the museum, it was one of those experiences that simply puts a big smile on your face. You’re literally walking through a place where so much football history has happened!
And honestly, I enjoyed every minute of it. No forming, no big grammar… I had fun! 😂
As you can see from the pictures, this man clearly enjoyed himself. And yes, before anyone asks, it was good money well spent! 😂🙌🏾

Derby della Madonnina which means Milan derby both stadium owners meeting to wound themselves on the field. The rivalry is intense.
Madonnina, is the iconic, gleaming golden statue of the Virgin Mary that sits atop the pinnacle of Milan’s famous Duomo cathedral. Because the statue is a universal symbol of the city, both clubs & their fanbases claim her protection & blessings on matchday.
The reds have their home in the stadio- Curva Sud (South Curve. And the blues have theirs too- Curva Nord (North Curve). While Inter are viewed as the club of the bourgeoisie (the upper-middle class)- showoffs. AC Milan are supposedly the club of the working class- casciavit (“screwdrivers”).
Inter have won the derby 91 times; AC Milan 84 times.
