Here with the renowned Pastor Bolaji Idowu of Harvesters International Christian Centre (HICC), at The Aesthetic Show Lagos 2026, & the takeaway was simple: rare, effortless humility. [Sorry that the knucklehead who took the picture, didn’t do it justice!]
No unnecessary barricades. No overbearing security. I walked up, engaged freely, & even asked for a photo, he seemed just as surprised at my surprise. Because I had expected some form resistance or blockade!
His team?
Equally gracious. No drama, no resistance, no aura of untouchability.
He arrived at the event quietly, carried himself with calm warmth, spoke with genuine ease, & exited just as simply (unobstructively). No spectacle, just substance.
In a space where access is often staged, his openness stood out, refreshing, human, & deeply admirable.
Now, before anyone gets ideas, I’m firmly rooted gidigba at the Ark of Jesus Ministries International under Prophet Obinna Jude Alexander… I dey where I dey, kampe. The teachings I receive weekly is 2nd to none in the universe!
But truly, honour where it’s due, kudos to this gentleman Pastor, for making humility look natural & accessibility feel normal. Men of God should be approachable!
